Support fee for snowmobile trails season 2025-26

Welcome to snowmobiling in Salla. The trail network is about 530 km long, of which 304 km are official trails. Trail maintenance will begin when there is enough snow and will continue as long as the weather permits. The main trails towards Kelloselkä, Suomun, and Ruka, as well as the trails around Sallatunturi and the church village, are maintained with a snow compactor. Maintenance of other trails is done with a snowmobile-drawn grader. You can support the maintenance of the snowmobile trails by paying a voluntary support fee. Those who have paid the fee will receive a sticker that can be attached to your own snowmobile. Thank you for your support!
